Tools needed

● Angle grinder (could also use a rotary tool, hand file, etc) ● Welding machine ● Hand clamp ● Cleaning agent (Isopropyl alcohol, Acetone, brake cleaner etc) ● Plastic film ● Tape ● Primer ● Black paint (RAL 9005) ● Sandpaper ● Black silicone (Würth A8 PRO Black or equivalent)

Frame Types

There are two types of frames with slight differences in the installation processes:

VOK2-A3S1S2 Revisions (H.1; K.1; K.2)

Requires additional grinding: existing plug welds flat to surface, clean weldable areas from paint


VOK2-A3S1S2 Revisions (…; G.1; K.3; …)

Requires grinding: clean weldable areas from paint

Installation instructions

⚠️ Make sure the battery is disconnected before starting work!

  1. Check for any damage near the existing crossmember and strut tower’s weldment. If there’s damage, use an angle grinder to clear the surrounding area.

  1. In case damage was noticed in step 2, fix the positioning of the strut tower, check whether the yellow surfaces are parallel and the distance between blue surfaces is 482 mm. In case they’re out of alignment, bend them back in place and reweld the connection.

NB! If there was no damage, skip this step!
