Tools needed
- Cordless drill
- ⌀5 mm drill bit
- Structural polymer adhesive (Würth 089322544 or equivalent)
- Cleaning agent (Isopropyl alcohol, brake cleaner, acetone, etc.)
- Fasteners kit (per 1 bracket):
- 2× M5×35 ISO 7380-1
- 2× DIN 985 M5 Nyloc nut
- 2× DIN 125 5.3 washer
Mounting hardware
Top striker bracket — repairing instructions
- Drill out the previously installed rivets.

- Bend the bracket back against the roof. Using the two pre-made furthest holes for positioning, drill through the entire roof.

- Clean the area with a cleaning agent. Apply adhesive in the gap between the bracket and wall.
- NB: Apply as far as you can reach with the adhesive’s conical tip. Do not bend the bracket excessively.

- Apply adhesive on the bottom of the plate for waterproofing. Secure the striker repair bracket in place with bolts, washers, and nuts from the fasteners kit as shown, and tighten.
