NB: All components must only be installed with the supplied Multigrip rivets! Do not use any other type of rivets!
Replacement instructions of the Door Seals
The instructions in this guide are based on the replacement of the Left Door Upper Seal, which is the most difficult, but the same logic applies for the replacement of all the other door seals.
- Remove the Gas Strut by first unscrewing the cylinder from the mounting eye on the box and then the piston rod from the mounting eye on the door. Unscrew the strut by hand, do not use pliers or other clamping tools, especially on the piston rod!

- Remove all rivets from the door seal that is being replaced by drilling through the rivets with a ⌀5 mm drill bit. Also drill out the rivets that fix the gas strut mount to the door seal.

- Use the retractable blade knife to cut through the glued seams between the door seal profiles’ black rubber flaps.

- Slide the retractable blade knife through the adhesive between the door panel and seal profile on both sides of the door. Make sure that all rivets are drilled through and out of the way. Remove the seal profile by prying it up from one end and lifting off the rest.
